WANA (Mar 16) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, has asserted that Washington has no right to dictate Iran’s foreign policy and called for an end to the killing of civilians in Yemen.

In a post on the social media platform X on Sunday, Araghchi stated, “The United States Government has no authority, or business, dictating Iranian foreign policy. That era ended in 1979.”

He further criticized U.S. policies, saying, “Biden was last year bamboozled into handing over unprecedented 23 billion dollars to a genocidal regime. More than 60,000 Palestinians killed and the world holds America fully accountable. ”

Concluding his statement, Araghchi directly addressed American officials, urging them to “end support for Israel’s genocide and terrorism” and to “stop the killing of the Yemeni people.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi’s statements came in response to remarks made by U.S. President Donald Trump last night, following his order for military operations and strikes on Yemen.

Addressing Iran, Trump declared, “Support for the Houthi terrorists must stop immediately! The American people, their president, has been given one of the greatest missions in presidential history. Do not threaten global shipping lanes. If you do, be careful, because the U.S. will hold you fully responsible, and we will not be kind in this regard!”

Yemeni media affiliated with Ansarullah have reported that widespread U.S. attacks on Sanaa and Saada have so far resulted in the deaths of 40 people and left 101 others wounded.
